About Our Jewelry...
The majority of the jewelry we carry is made from alloy (metal) and is rhodium plated, .925 sterling silver plated or electroplated to prevent tarnishing. Our customers tell us they prefer not to have to constantly polish their jewelry, therefore, the amount of sterling silver items that we carry is minimal. If an item is sterling silver, this would be noted in the description and title. All of our jewelry is nickle free and lead free or lead compliant meeting U.S. EPA guidelines.
How to Clean Your Jewelry...
Most of our jewelry can be cleaned in a mixture of warm water and a drop or two of dishwashing liquid. We recommend Dawn as it does a good job at removing dirt and oils. Leave in liquid a minute or two. Dry thoroughly and buff with a clean dry cloth. Abrasive cleaners are not recommended.
Caring for and Storing Your Jewelry...
All fashion and costume jewelry should be kept dry and away from moisture whenever possible; always remove when swimming and bathing.
All fashion jewelry should be stored in a dry closed container particularly when the humidity is high. If possible, place a silica gel packet in your jewelry box; this will absorb any moisture.. Rubber bands should not be stored in jewelry boxes or near jewelry as they cause the jewelry to oxidize.
Child Safety...
All jewelry, regardless of the manufacturer, should be kept out of the reach of infants and small children.
